Check out the gallery below for tons of shots of Acer's 10.1-inch Iconia W510 x86 Windows 8 tablet with keyboard dock

It's clear that touch and ultra thin form factor x86 are going to be two major themes of this year's Computex, and on a larger scale two major themes of Microsoft's battle against Apple later this year. It's very telling that Acer isn't showing off any ARM based Windows 8 tablets at the show. Full x86 compatibility is going to be a big feature for dockable Windows 8 tablets as an iPad alternative.

This is looking more and more tempting. Though, what ends up being inside at this pricepoint is what concerns me. I'm hoping that won't cripple this.

    Bring on the competition.

The tablet itself looks fine though they dock attachment could use some work. Anyone notice that the Windows logo on the keyboard changed?

And I'm surprised that the x86 tablet is so thin!

What's with the tattooed arms? If I wanted to look at clowns/punks, I'd go to engadget

Is the screen a matte display (anti-glare) ????

Look at picture 9 and, the light reflecting off it is mottled not continuous. It's got some sort of anti-glare filter.

Assuming it's 1366x768 I think I've finally found a replacement for my aging 768p netbook. 1024x600's not supported by w8; and if it was 900/1080p I suspect that marketing would've advertised the fact like they did for the 11.6" model.
